Abstract.
The article identifies the signs of anthropological crisis by the analysis of the transformations of the Chechen youth’s life values in the modern period. The author points out that the Chechen youth’s spiritual potential is cardinally influenced by the processes of globalization and technification. The social dissatisfaction of the radically-minded young people is a manifestation of the search for alternative “Islamic values” caused by poverty and lack of prospects.
