Abstract. Many researchers of the philosophical heritage of Spinoza tell about naturalistic approach to the phenomena of the moral life of a subject characteristic for him. Nature in his comprehension is some homogeneous space of the manifestation of unified laws. Meanwhile in the history of European philosophy naturalistic idea always had a serious opponent in Platonism differentiating the general space of the universe. The philosophical system of Spinoza relying also on the Platonic model of existence presents a vivid example of collision between naturalism and Platonism.
