CONSCIOUSNESS BEYOND BRAIN: MYTH OR REALITY

Abstract.
The article is devoted to the possibility of the existence of consciousness beyond brain. It naturally occurs against the background of such phenomena of consciousness, which are accompanied by the states of clinical death and creative work. Considering such phenomena and taking into account the views of the outstanding scientists of various epochs the author pays attention to the fact that the theory of cognition by Hegel, actually, describes the process of making great discoveries, and some idealistic conceptions about consciousness coincide with the conclusions of contemporary physicists.
