LECTURE PROPAGANDA IN KOMSOMOL ACTIVITY OF THE 1950S

Abstract.
In the article the author shows the efforts of the Young Communist League (Komsomol) on improving lecture propaganda in the 1950s, and notes a special role of the collective of the freelance lecturers of the Central Committee of The All-Union Leninist Young Communist League and the All-Union Society for Dissemination of Political and Scientific Knowledge. The use of the image of Lenin as one of the measures to overcome the cult of Stalin’s personality is characterized. At the same time, the conclusion about the low efficiency of lecture propaganda also at the end of the 1950s is drawn.
