Abstract. The article analyzes the connotations of the Old Testament images of kings and prophets in the French monarchy inaugural protocol by the example of Charles V’s coronation ordo of 1364 with a view to study the formation of the potestary model of supreme political power and its objective transformation under the Hundred Years’ War conditions. The ordo of 1364 is distinguished by the inaugural protocol of a Queen, whose image is also based on the Old Testament archetypes: the latter are examined in the article.
