Abstract.
In modern science there is no common approach to the characterization of the structure of mentality. Moreover, there is a point of view about the impossibility of the appropriate solution of this problem owing to the “non-manifestation” of the mentality phenomenon. Analyzing the opinions of Russian and foreign researchers the author strives for denoting her own view on the peculiarities of the elements of mental structures both relating to the sphere of the collective unconscious and conscious and rational structures.
