IDEOLOGICAL PECULIARITIES OF ALTERNATIVE EGYPTOLOGY FOUNDERS’ APPROACH TO STUDYING ANCIENT EGYPTIAN RELIGION AND CIVILIZATION

Abstract.
The article is devoted to investigating the conceptions, which are a basis for studying ancient Egyptian religion and civilization by the representatives of the so called alternative Egyptology. The author examines the works of the founders of this sphere of knowledge (R. A. Schwaller de Lubicz, J. A. West, R. Clarke), identifies the specifics of the approach to the problem of the deities and divine and their role in the Egyptian chronology. The paper concludes that alternative Egyptology continued the tradition of previously existed views on the problems under study having introduced its own research approach.
