SECULAR AND RELIGIOUS VALUES CORRELATION IN THE CONTEXT OF THE ISSUE OF CIVIL SOCIETY FORMATION IN RUSSIA

Abstract.
The article deals with the issue of the correlation of secular and religious in the contemporary Russian society; contradictions between the adherents of liberal and democratic values, on the one hand, and religious ones, on the other hand, are analyzed. The author comes to the conclusion that to achieve a necessary balance between the parties a dialogue between secular authorities and religious organizations is needed aimed to overcome the existing contradictions and to demarcate the spheres of their activity. The significance of the formation of a new type of thinking uniting contradictory value guidelines is highlighted.
