Abstract.
After the Old Believers had acquired civil rights in 1905 the organization of schools became one of the basic tasks of the Old Believers’ communities. The article discovers the problems of establishing the first Old Believers’ school in Saratov at the beginning of the XX century. The author emphasizes the crucial role of Saratov Old Believers’ community of the Pomorian soglasiye as in the school building construction so as in the educational process organization according to the Old Believers’ doctrine.
