Abstract.
The article analyzes changes in sociocultural values in the practices of theatrical art in the context of historical change in the society and the interrelation of sociohistorical conditions and the reformation of theatrical art. The authors use the interdisciplinary approach in the article, which provides the possibility of the creative comprehension of the phenomenon of theatre. The paper highlights the socially significant value of theatrical art that at different historical stages of its development transmitted and formed a certain system of values and ideals in the audience.
