COMMEMORATION OF THE DEPARTED, MUMMERS’ PLAYS AND HEARTY MEAL AS ACTION BLOCKS IN MASLENITSA

Abstract.
The article is devoted to the study of the action blocks of the phenomenon of Maslenitsa (Pancake Week) holiday from the perspective of the methodology of imiaslavie (praising the name) philosophy. The results of the research allow assuming the following: through the commemoration of the departed the expansion of spatial-temporal dimension is carried out and conditions for the transition to the ontological norm of existence are created; mummers’ plays are a compulsory condition for administering the sacrament and sacraments are a condition of dreamlike existence transformation; hearty meal performs magic functions and is an integral part of cult and connects the heavenly and earthly worlds.
