MORAL ASPECT OF ORTHODOX PERSONOLOGY IN WORKS OF SPIRITUAL AND ACADEMIC THEISTS OF THE XIX CENTURY

Abstract. The article deals with the moral metaphysics and moral theology of the tradition known as the Orthodox personology. This tradition develops the ideas of patristics concerning the understanding of the personality. The author analyzes the works about morality of the spiritual and academic theists of the XIX century: A. Bogorodskii’s “The Moral Teaching of Paul the Apostle” and hieromonk Alipy’s “The Moral Teaching of St. Ven. Macarius of Egypt”.
