Abstract.
The article investigates the influence of Buddhistic philosophy on the European understanding of the phenomenon of theanthropos. The author carries out the analysis of various approaches of the non-phenomenological interpretation of the notions “superman”, “theanthropos” and “perfect” in terms of Buddha dharma. Particular attention is paid to the comparative analysis of some propositions of the written and oral traditions of Vajrayana and their reception in the non-phenomenological paradigm of M. Eliade, J. Evola.
