Abstract. The article aims to introduce the philosophical interpretation of Bashkir choreographic traditions by studying the multidimensional creative activity of the famous ballet master F. Gaskarov, who created the history and canon of Bashkir folk dance. Having artistically summarized and developed the unique elements of Bashkir dance art he created a gallery of the invaluable images of national choreography, which formed the repertoire basis of the State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Bashkortostan and became its artistic face.
