ORIGAMI TECHNIQUES IN POSTER DESIGN

Abstract.
The article provides comparative analysis of the concepts “banner” and “poster”, proposes different variants to design original posters. The researcher introduces an algorithm to design two author’s original pictures depicting seasonal landscapes by origami techniques. The paper describes three-dimensional applique technique which became a means to express the ideas of both compositions, provides guidelines on designing and posting the posters on the Internet.
