Abstract.
The article is devoted to the disclosure of the role of imagination and the imagined in the space of modern post-classical thinking, philosophy, science and experience of a human on the whole. The initial “gene” of culture associated with a human’s self-affirmation in his/her freedom and spirituality finds its own maximum implementation and development just in the structures of the experience of imagination. The world of culture is experience of the Absolute, experience of self-affirming and self-affirmed reality of human spirit. Imagination constitutes an image that is energy of meaning.
