SOCIAL-PHILOSOPHICAL PROBLEMS OF PARASCIENCE IN THE CONTEXT OF POSTNONCLASSICAL RATIONALITY

Abstract. The article provides an analysis of social-philosophical problems of the parascience and reveals its methodological and philosophical features in the context of postnonclassical rationality. Social and cultural reasons for the spread of parasciences in the contemporary society are found. Irrational grounds of the parascience are ascertained. The author concludes that the parascience is able to reflect the key trends of postnonclassical rationality and to influence mass consciousness of the modern society.
