PROBLEM OF “NOTHINGNESS” ORIGIN IN JEAN-PAUL SARTRE’S PHILOSOPHY

Abstract.
The article discusses the problem of “nothingness” origin in the work by J.-P. Sartre “Being and Nothingness”. The author shows what conceptions of “nothingness” Sartre starts from critically analyzing them. The main objects of Sartre’s criticism are images of “nothingness” created in philosophy of Hegel and Heidegger. The paper demonstrates that it is on the basis of this criticism that Sartre set the problem of “nothingness”. The work also considers how Sartre comes to the comprehension of the issue on “human existence” and “freedom”.
