Abstract. The article provides a survey of history of information and computer ethics development. The author examines its key development stages in correlation with appearance of new technologies, analyzes peculiarities of each stage and the basic philosophical conceptions suggested by researchers of that time. The paper emphasizes importance of studying and analyzing computer ethics in the context of developing modern technologies and appearance of ethical problems, which have no analogues in the past.
