Abstract.
The article doubts the adequacy of representing one of the basic images of F. Nietzsche’s philosophy - Dionysus image, on which the system of nihilistic conceptions, the elements of the so called “philosophy of life“, is focused. The authors believe that Nietzsche adopts the wrong conception of subordination between Greek gods, giving genealogical preference not to light Apollo but to dark Dionysus thus breaking the ontological structure of the universe. This mythological casus stimulated the growing tendency for destruction in the sphere of practical politics.
