Abstract.
The article analyzes informative potential of materials of the Central State Archives of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania to study problems of the region’s socio-economic development in 1945-1953. Special attention is paid to investigating the fund of the Republican Council of Ministers, which contains a large bulk of documents providing information on North Ossetia’s agriculture, industry and social sphere in the post-war period.
