INFLUENCE OF CINEMA EXPRESSIVE MEANS ON DEVELOPMENT OF THE CHILDREN’S FAIRY TALE ILLUSTRATION

Abstract.
The article examines the characteristic features of the influence of cinema expressive means on the development of the figurative and plastic structure of the illustration of the children’s fairy tale in the 1970s and 1980s. For the first time definitions are given to the notions of “director’s approach”, “montage”, “multi-layer exposition” and “intraframe movement” as applied to the art of the book. The author substantiates the idea that gradual refusal of traditional narrative illustrations leads to the formation of complex intellectual systems within the book ensemble.
