Abstract. The traditional culture of the peoples of Siberia is of great interest to historians, ethnographers, linguists and many others. Special attention should be paid to myths, in which the person’s ideas about the Cosmos, gods, spirits of mountains, society, and state are contained. The spiritual culture of the Altaians has been influenced by many peoples whose historical destinies were associated with the Altai Mountains. The article presents a philosophical analysis of the main archetypes of Altai myths, which are considered as unique experience of a man’s adaptation to life in Siberia and an integral part of the world culture.
