Abstract.
The article reveals the peculiarities of social-economic integration of migrants in the countries of the Baltic region in the context of the migration crisis of 2014-2015. Particular attention is paid to the place of migrants in labor markets and employment levels. The paper refers to indicators that affect the degree of integration: the level of unemployment in the country, the professional qualifications of migrants, access to education and retraining, etc. As a result, the author comes to conclusion about the advisability of deepening migrants’ economic integration due to changes in the demographic situation in the countries of the Baltic region.
