ARCHITECTURAL FANTASIES IN CREATIVITY OF ARTISTS AND ARCHITECTS OF THE GERMAN EXPRESSIONISM

Abstract.
The article deals with architectural fantasies created by artists and architects of the German expressionism. The directed organizational efforts of the leaders of the “Workers’ Council for Art” in this sphere in the period of the Weimar Republic and creative correspondence “The Glass Chain” are analyzed. The article singles out a number of authors who devoted most of their creativity to architectural fantasies in fine arts, describes characteristic features of their works.
