Abstract.
The article considers the specificity of the religious situation in the post-modernity era. Two tendencies of religious dynamics are singled out and analyzed: the development of alternative forms of religiosity (spirituality) and the activation of religious fundamentalism. Both tendencies are options for answering the cultural challenge of post-modernity and are affected by its influence. But alternative religiosity corresponds to the cultural logic of post-modernity and accepts it, while fundamentalism is the rejection of post-modernity.
