MAIN STAGES OF FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE PHYSICAL CULTURE TRAINING PROGRAM “READY FOR LABOR AND DEFENSE!” IN SOVIET BURYATIA

Abstract.
The all-Russian physical culture training program “Ready for Labor and Defense!” is a key component in the unified system of the youth’s patriotic education in our country. Revived in 2014 after twenty years of oblivion, it has rich history. The experience of regions in the implementation and realization of the program is particularly valuable since each region had its own unique peculiarities of these processes. In the article, the authors identify and consider the main stages of the program formation and development in the Republic of Buryatia, summarize the results of its implementation, its impact on the development of physical and mass work among children and young people.
