Abstract.
The article discusses the problem of correlation of value attitudes and matrimonial behaviour on the basis of the “institutional reflexivity” conception proposed by A. Giddens. Peculiarities of the modern youth’s matrimonial discourse of the last decade are identified. The authors suggest that this discourse is of quasi-institutional nature, which is justified by discrepancy of matrimonial behaviour models and value orientations. The existing conscious attitudes are not always represented in young peoples’ behaviour.
