Abstract.
The article is devoted to the complex research of the general laws and theories of aging, and touches upon the need for a complex approach to the organization of social-cultural activity of the elderly. The social-cultural sphere gives an opportunity for creative self-realization, thereby solving a number of important social-cultural problems of the elderly, compensating for the lack of successful adaptation opportunities in other spheres of life. The author gives a generalized description of the technological interaction of a social-cultural complex, which includes various kinds of leisure activity, meets the needs of older people and contributes to the overcoming of adaptation barriers of the third age people. According to the author all this will contribute to the expansion of social ties, a healthy lifestyle, the strengthening of self-esteem, and positive relationships with others.
