Abstract. The reviewed textbook belongs to the category of Russian as a Foreign Language materials focused on teaching language for specific purposes. It is intended for international students (Bachelor’s and Master’s level) enrolled in faculties related to the oil and gas industry. The textbook is designed for a B1 level of Russian language proficiency. Consisting of four chapters (dedicated to reservoir fluids, the development of oil and gas fields, and well drilling) and sixteen lessons, it systematically introduces preparatory faculty students to oil and gas vocabulary. The textbook aims to enhance the effectiveness of professionally oriented learning.
