Abstract.
In the article the features of the creativity of a modern Italian poet, the major representative of the Italian literature of the XXth century are examined. The object of research is the introductory sonnet of one of the latest poet's collections «Each third idea». The selected example shows the main themes of creativity and the features of processing a sonnet by the poets of the XXth century.
