Abstract.
In the article the concept "art" is considered as a complex, linguo-cultural one, including all kinds of arts. The concept is presented as a main part of E. T. A. Hoffmann's and M. A. Bulgakov's concept sphere and picture of the world who have similar aesthetic positions. The concept is described with the help of frame analysis, the attention is focused on its realization in the writers' language and on its perception by a reader.
