Abstract.
The article is devoted to the analysis of Georgy Ivanov's poem in which the principle is used that is characteristic for a musical composition, in particular, for polyphonic style in music - the principle of counterpoint. The features of G. Ivanov's lyrics connected with the used techniques are traced.
