Abstract.
The article is devoted to researching the category of evidentness in the modern German language, and also to the analysis of syntactic and semantic features of autoreference metacommunicative constructions with the verb scheinen as the constituent of the functional-semantic field of evidentness on the basis of German scientific texts.
