ASSOCIATIVE-FIGURATIVE REALIZATION OF THE CONCEPT "JUNGLE" IN ENGLISH AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES

Abstract.
Associative-figurative realization of the concept "Jungle" in English and Russian languages is considered in the article. Methodological basis of research includes comparative analysis of associations and images caused by the name of the investigated concept. During the analysis it was found out that in the verbalization of Russian and English languages the concept "Jungle" has similar images in its nuclear zone. But some distinctions are observed in peripheral zone.
