FEMALE IMAGES IN THE NOVEL TRAVEL OF LAYMEN BY B. SH. OKUDZHAVA

Abstract. The typology of female images in B. Sh. Okudzhava's creative works is represented in the article. It is shown on the basis of the novel Travel of Laymen, that B. Sh. Okudzhava destroys gender stereotype creating female image which can resist to the tradition developed in society. The author asserts that B. Sh. Okudzhava not only considerably expands the classification of female images developed in the Russian literature, complicating it, but also creates complex characters supplementing each other.
