Abstract.
The article is devoted to the consideration of the notional characteristics of the concept "patriotism" in Kurdish linguo-culture. The characteristics are deduced by the analysis of ethymology and dictionary definitions, of the units revealed in Kurdish poetry and representing the given concept.
