Abstract.
The article is devoted to the close connection and interaction of such independent phenomena as semantic uncertainty and broad meaning. It is shown to what types of nouns with broad meaning we can apply the phenomenon of uncertainty and how the property of conceptual diffusion can be shown and removed in them.
