Feelings can determine the physical condition of a person: cold, famine, tiredness, fever, pain, etc., and his psychological condition: pleasure, excitement, anxiety, alarm, pride, fear, shame, etc. In informal speech we often hear such characteristics of people: a sensitive, emotional person, and also their antonyms: an insensible, non-emotional person. In our work we shall analyse the verbs of feeling, we shall consider their meanings, their use in context, and also we shall present their equivalents in the English language.
