Abstract.
In the article the ways of functioning of color in V. S. Vysotsky's poetry are designated and it is shown how they are realized in his works on concrete examples. The authors state that the methods of colour creativity in V. S. Vysotsky's poetry are based on the common semantics characteristic of certain colors and pay attention to the degree of the independence of colour characteristics in V. S. Vysotsky's poetry.
