Abstract. The article is devoted to such phenomenon as inaugural discourse which is a subdiscourse of presidential discourse in the system of general political discourse. Inaugural discourse has huge cognitive-pragmatical potential reflecting such basic features of this type of discourse as persuasiveness and suggestiveness.
