Abstract.
In the article the questions of the formation of professional motives of the students of a higher educational establishment are considered, the peculiarities of the motivational provision of a student's educational activity are revealed. Special attention is paid to a foreign language role, its motivational provision and the didactical conditions of the realization of the analyzed phenomenon on the material of a foreign language teaching.
