ABLATIVE FUNCTIONS IN EASTERN-KHANTY DIALECTS

Abstract.
The necessity of the description of the case system of the Khanty language is conditioned by the insufficient research of this question in modern Finno-Ugric studies. The specification of the quantity structure of cases in case paradigm is not the only task to be solved by the researcher. Only the systematic description of cases with their full functional-semantic characteristic will allow determining the level and the process of cases development in case system of the language. In the article special attention is paid to the analysis of the meanings of poly-functional Eastern-Khanty ablative.
