Abstract.
Education novel peculiarities in the creative works of the writer-realist Charles Dickens who is the brightest representative of the English literature of the 19th century are considered. Special attention is given to the novels types within the genre limits, to the genre attributes originality and to the use of such narration method as the retrospective review in Dickens's education novels.
