Abstract. The problem of teaching the Kazakh language to foreign audiences through the connection with today's reality is considered. That is why the author shows the effective sides of the use of independent work and different situational tasks while studying the text "Competitive personality is the future of Kazakhstan" which assist getting additional information in different spheres of life.
