Abstract.
In the article the review of the new monograph of Doctor in Linguistics, Professor, the author of more than 400 scientific works - Aleksandr Tihonovich Lipatov - "Slang as the problem of sociolect" is given. The author pays the main attention to the innovations which A. T. Lipatov introduces in the field of sociolect study.
