Abstract. The article reveals the specificity of the pedagogical discourse of the Russian literature, of a teacher's image in creative works of D. I. Fonvizin, A. S. Pushkin, I. S. Turgenev. Instructiveness phenomenon of Russian literature is comprehended in communicative aspect, through the problem of the communication teacher - pupil.
