Abstract. The authors consider the peculiarities of technical means use while teaching auding in a foreign language to the students of the non-language specialities of Institute of Natural Recourses of Tomsk Polytechnic University. Properly chosen technical means for teaching a foreign language promote teaching process intensification and the growth of the motivation to study a foreign language especially as far as the students of non-language specialities are concerned.
