METAPHOR AS THE BASIS OF THE INTERNAL IMAGE OF THE PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS WITH THE MEANING TIME

Abstract.
In the article the concept time which is vividly expressed in phraseology is presented as the metaphor time - movement and is conditionally divided into two fields. As the result of the analysis the author comes to the conclusion that the phraseological units with temporal meaning constructed on metaphor basis are characterized with impressive figurativeness and expressiveness and help to describe the linguo-temporal world picture in which deep philosophical understanding of time is reflected.
