Abstract.
The author reveals the content of the notion modern Russian youth colloquial language, describes the peculiarities of a public opinion poll on this problem and its statistical characteristics and pays special attention to the questions of modern youth's speech culture. Understanding the inevitability of youth social dialect existence linguists mustn't be passive and mustn't apathetically watch over this process. The author invites the reader to the serious discussion on youth's speech culture perfection.
